Hello
Dana has joined us as an intern as she has completed her masters in counseling. She is currently working towards her provisional licensed professional counselor. From our community, she knows and understands the needs, struggles and resources available to help others who want a better life.
My Story
Dana has worked to help her community in various capacities of her professional career for over twenty years and is currently employed full time with the State of Missouri. She received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Post University in 2021. She has a passion to help others achieve their goals with as much support as possible. Currently, she is still a student at Post University and is completing her practicum and internship hours to graduate and obtain her Master of Science in Counseling and Human Services with a focus on Clinical Counseling. After graduation, she will continue to work towards becoming a Licensed Practicing Counselor.
Mental health and self care are two important areas in life which are often overlooked; she wants to help others through stressful situations and in order to find balance and peace. She will focus on helping individuals, groups, caretakers, and families achieve goals set in order to live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.
When not working, she enjoys reading, walking, listening to music, crocheting, watching sports, and most importantly spending time with her loved ones. She is eager to continue helping others and promoting self care as well as advocating for mental health care.
