God's Guidance for Depression

God’s guidance:
Psalm 34:17-18 When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
Do one of these a day, not all of them. If you have depression, doing all of them is too exhausting.
Get out in the sunshine or sit by a window.
Go for a walk.
Take a shower.
Phone a friend or invite someone over, connect.
Monitor your mood, use the scale, 0-10, 0=no depression, 10 the most you’ve had. What is today? What can you do or think to bring that number down? Just something small.
